Jean-Guy Bureau was born in Westchester County, New York. His love of imagery and light began as a child while accompanying his mother, a commercial artist, on countless trips to renowned museums such as the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the Guggenheim and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
He is an award-winning cinematographer and director on films, music videos, national commercials, and over 150 episodes of Prime time television programming. With a passion for story telling, Jean-Guy’s talent has earned 2 Emmys and over 35 various awards to include Cine Eagles, Tellys, and top honors at national and international film festivals.
